Botanical Name: Arctostaphylos uva-ursi

Bearberry is used as a urinary antiseptic to treat infections and inflammation of the lower urinary tract eg; cystitis and urethritis. Bearberry works most effectively when combined with a vegetable based (alkaline) diet. The dried leaves can be used to make a therapeutic Bearberry tea.
